Administration and postponement of mobility stays from the summer semester 19/20

Dear incoming scholarship holders to Slovakia!

As we recently receive many questions from you regarding the postponement of your stays influenced by the Covid-19 pandemics, we would like to summarize here the process to follow if you want to carry out your CEEPUS stay from the summer semester 19/20 within this academic year 19/20 or in the new academic year 20/21. 

If you want to carry out your stay in this academic year 19/20, you can do so only until 31.8.2020. To have your stay approved by us in the new dates, you have to get in touch with the NCO Slovakia as soon as possible and inform us of your intention. Aditionally, NCO Slovakia will also require from you the approval of your stay from the host university in Slovakia and a new plan of educational and research activities you will be involved in during your stay (you can send this by e-mail). 

If you want to carry out your stay in the new academic year 20/21, you will have to submit a new application. In Slovakia, there is not a possibility to postpone mobility stays between two different academic years. Therefore, if you want to come to Slovakia in the following semester (from September 2020 onwards), you have to submit a new application for the academic year 20/21. We will do our best to accept primarily those mobility stays which could not be realised in 19/20 due to Covid-19 pandemics. After we receive your new application for 20/21, the current not-realized application for 19/20 will be cancelled.
